We recently moved into a new home and the washer was clogged and wouldn't drain properly. I called Fix Appliances on Friday night and someone was able to come the next day. The technician, Dima, was great he came prepared with the parts for our washer. We needed to replace the drain pump motor in the washer and after explaining to us what work was needed, Dima worked quickly, was tidy and very friendly. All in all we got our washer fixed less than 24 hours after we called, I was very impressed with the company and with Dima. I will definitely be going to them if I have any other appliance issues in the future.

Our washing machine was filling with water as a result of a water valve inlet issue. Dima was quick to diagnose this issue and was able to repair a few days later when part was available. He was professional, courteous, diligent and worked in a very timely fashion. Thanks!!

I have a washer that is less than three years old purchased from Sears which subsequently went out of business. This ended my warranty. It was great relief to be able to get online and find fixappliances as an alternative. Dima was my repair man and quickly found the cause of my washer leak. Initially started with the e-mail. Few minutes later company called me to fix the appointment. Couple of hours later we’ll mannered young man called Ilia showed up and fixed my washing machine in less than 45 minutes . I had spinning problem. Everything happened within few hours. Wow... Our front loading washing machine was not draining water properly and took extra spin cycles to clear it out. We called Fix Appliances and they were excellent to deal with. We got a call back over the weekend to book the appointment and they followed up just before to confirm. Dima was the technician and was very knowledgeable. He walked us through his analysis and what he found and outlined options for the repair. We ended up replacing the pump since we had everything open and we really don't want to have the machine dumped in a landfill needlessly. Dima was great to deal with-tidy, explained all the options. Would certainly recommend and call back for other appliance needs.

The technician repaired our 8 year old Kenmore washing machine-- it was not draining water.. He made recommendations, and explained on the repair. He suggested and moved the machine a little closer to drainage attached to the utility sink and told us to only use the manufacture hose and remove the extension that caused the issue. And he explained that the machine will be much more healthier. He also adjusted the feet so that the machine remains stable during the spinning.

We have a Frigidaire front loading washing machine which has served us well for the past 4 years. We started to notice that the door would not lock properly and as a result the inner drum would not rotate. We called a guy to come check it out and he told us that we would need to replace the door lock and water pump. Based on the price of the parts and labour, we were instructed to purchase a new machine (it wouldn't make sense fixing it). I wasn't content with the initial diagnosis, so I decided to get a second opinion. I had a friend who has used the services of Fix Appliances on a number of occasions and he said they were good. I called them to schedule an appointment and I had Sasha come by the house the next day. He did a thorough check of the washing machine and once complete, he said that I will definitely need a new door lock BUT the pump may not be necessary (potential savings!). It was difficult to diagnosis any further since it would not lock properly and he didn't have the part(s) with him. He also provided me with the best and worst case scenario in terms of cost. He then proceeded to order the parts and told me a 2nd visit would be necessary. Sasha came back 6 days later with the parts, installed the door lock and performed another thorough check. Once the door lock was installed he said that was the issue the whole time and the pump wasn't required. I saved approximately $150 (that was just for one part...SMH!) and the machine machine works great. Sasha is detailed oriented and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use their services again!

Our Neptune Maytag washer recently broke down after 10+ years. It had stopped working in the middle of a wash cycle. We had had some experience with Fix Appliances just a month prior to repair our dryer which was not heating. (Yes, folks...they break down together!) We were very satisfied with their professionalism and their work. Their response was prompt and Oleg, the technician, was polite and informative. Upon arrival, he examined the machine, found the problem, repaired and cleaned his work space afterwards. It turns out that our son had left a small pebble in his pocket and it had made its way into the machine's pump, blocking it and damaging it as well. Oleg changed the pump and tested the machine several times.

My washing machine broke on the long weekend and someone came on the holiday Monday. There was no extra charge with it being a holiday. The part was ordered and fixed by Thursday of that week. The problem was explained throughly to me. This company is very helpful and customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

This is a great company! Our Kenmore washer wasn't working so I called to see if I could get a repairman out that same day. Our technician Serge arrived at the start of the 3 hour window the dispatcher had scheduled with me. I was so relieved! He diagnosed the issue immediately and gave us a very fair quote.
